Quarantine: Day 8 ★ ROBOTMAK3RS
One of the side effects of the quarantine is that we are all learning about homeschooling. With all of our kids at home there is a limit to what teachers can do to help us (and they are doing all they can from a distance). We also need to make a personal effort to ensure our kids have learning opportunities.
If you already gave that some consideration in the past, you may have a LEGO WeDo 2.0 set at home. Maybe your child has even done all of the activities that come with the software. Are you looking for more ideas?
There is a group of dedicated AFOLs with a special interest in LEGO robotics platforms (including WeDo) that manage a variety of Facebook groups.
The group is a great place to solve any issues or questions you may have, but it is also a thriving community of WeDo fans that share creations and building instructions for additional projects. A treasure trove of ideas for any child that has access to a WeDo 2.0 kit.
You can access the group clicking on the image below:
But WeDo is not the only platform the ROBOTMAK3RS have a group for. Boost, Powered Up, MINDSTORMS and Spike all have their own group and you can find the links to those groups in the "about" section of the WeDo group.
Have fun building, coding and learning!
