Set Review ➟ 40341 XTRA

This year LEGO will launch a second wave of LEGO XTRA sets. The company has sent us a copy of model 40341, which includes nautical exploration pieces.

On the front of the bag we see the different elements that are part of the set. At the back we can see the legal information. There is also a transparent part that allows us to appreciate the pieces.

These sets of LEGO XTRA remind us of the LEGO Service, which could be purchased in the 90s through the postal service. Many of us longed for the return of LEGO Service, and it seems that LEGO XTRA is a way to enjoy pieces and accessories for our sets, as we did a couple of decades ago ;)

Once the bag is open, we can see all the pieces that make up this set.

The elements that make up this set are:

An oyster shell with a star inside. I understand that instead of a pearl, there is a starfish.

An orange buoy with a red beacon.

A barrel with an oar and a harpoon.

A chest with a fish, a treasure map and binoculars.

A shark with padded eyes.

A pair of swimfins and two gems.

A surf board.

A parrot molded in two colors. The particular thing about this element is that due to the way of injecting, mixing the two plastics in the molding, there aren't two equal parrots.

In addition, there are some extra pieces;)

This set of accessories is a good complement to a maritime diorama. For a price of € 3.99 we get an interesting assortment. The shark and the parrot stand out. The piece/price ratio is 16.6 cents, but many of them are large, so it does not seem far-fetched.

We thank LEGO® for providing us with the set to be able to make a review. However, LEGO® does not endorse or support the opinions we publish about their sets.
