Set Review ➟ LEGO® 76274 - Batman with the Batmovile vs Harley Quinn and Mr. Freeze

And here we present the new Batmobile with a great classic flavour. If you remember, in the review of Gothan City, set 76271, we featured this Batmovile in very small scale but very well designed from the animated series it represents. Here we have it in minifigure scale. It has a very fast design in that its aerodynamics is paradoxically quite square but it gives a feeling .... that the stickers are going to get away from him! It's an 8+ set, with 435 pieces, 3 minifigures and a price of 59,99€ at lego.com.

Contains 4 paper bags, a sticker sheet and the construction manual.

The first big surprise is that the cape is made of rubber! The legs are also a joy as they come with that sort of characteristic black outer briefs and boots. The figure looks great.

Well, the first part is very simple and square. It has a differential that we imagine it will be for once the car moves we see fire or something similar coming out of the back ^^

Well, here you can see Miss Quinn. This is exactly the same minifigure that appears in the Gotham City set.

Here we'll put the controls in the cockpit, we'll raise the overall height a bit more and without a doubt the most interesting part, at least for me, is the front part that simulates the radiator. Some jumpers, some dots and some wedges and it looks fantastic.

We finally mounted Mr. Freeze. Check out the helmet reference he makes.... Interesting, isn't it?

And this reference? :O

There are several simple and well-known techniques here, but there are also some little delights, such as the one shown in the picture below.

We will find some more similar techniques but I would like to highlight two things. The parts that make up the tail also have a little bit of a crux and that at last, as unlikely as it may seem, we will be able to put Batman in the cockpit, without having to remove the rubber cape!

The construction has come to an end and it's time to draw some conclusions. There is no doubt that the model is in line with the Batmobile from the animated series, there is no argument there. Square lines, colour, techniques used and the rotor that makes the propeller work. A playable set with 3 beautiful minifigures but perhaps a bit expensive for the amount of parts. As always the number of minifigures and the license makes the final product more expensive. We thank LEGO for sending the set for this article although LEGO never endorses or supports the opinions we give in it.
