This small set recreates the scene of little Grogu's escape from the pursuit of the 501st clones, from which he escapes thanks to the jedi Kelleran Beq. It's an 8+ set, with 221 pieces and a cost of 29,99€ and with 4 minifigures. Yes, for me Grogu also counts as a minifigure even though the LEGO website clearly states that only 3 are included.
The contents are 3 bags, a small manual and some stickers.
The Kelleran minifigure is the first thing we will build. I really like the gold edges of the tunic. Also the spongy cape is less stiff and more malleable and more durable too as it's a material that seems to fray less and therefore the cape won't suffer from the much maligned ‘frayed’ condition. Right, let's get on with it. The speeder doesn't show any technique worth highlighting too much. But as always in this kind of constructions you can always find something ‘cool’. It all depends on your taste. Sometimes a combination of several simple things can make the result stand out. This can be one of these cases.
The clones, as always, wonderful! And now for the ‘sidecar’ where Grogu will be placed. Nothing remarkable but I really liked the way the black backrest stands out. Although Grogu is in his classic floating basket perched on it, you can put a minifigure in it and it looks really nice too.
We finish this little set by building Grogu's ‘basket’ vehicle. It looks good, not bad. We also make the luminous decoration so that the scene doesn't look a bit poor, ‘et voilá’! Now we can hThis set is small and easy to build even though it is an 8+. It is an important scene in The Mandalorian so for fans of the Star Wars universe it will be a set to have. Without Kelleran's help, the fate of the little Grogu would probably have been sealed in an unfortunate way. The Kelleran Beq figure makes it quite a tasty treat. Plus of course it adds more clones to our army.
