Set Review ➟ LEGO® 75353 - Endor speeder chase

I was looking forward to having the chance to build a Star Wars Diorama collection set again. This time it is the 75353 - Endor speeder chase. It is a set with 3 minifigures, 608 pieces and a price on the LEGO website of 79,99€. Well, as we are used to, the set will have a rectangular base on which we can recreate an iconic scene from our favourite saga. The brothers' speeder chase on Endor certainly is. We'll see what the construction has in store for us.

The content does not appear to have stickers! :)

Star Wars bible phrase?

The construction of the base has nothing to comment on. First steps to start getting into the details of the land and vegetation.

With a handful of wegdes and corner plates in dark green and a few green leaves and flowers the result is quite different. What strikes me most about this type of set is the successful synthesis of details.

Aha! Here we can already build Leia's character. The camouflage of the costume is superb.

I am touched by the results obtained with the simplicity of the constructions, when you know how to do it that way, of course. Exem. You can see the interior detail of the construction of the tree, the simplicity in its totality and nevertheless it is a tree that synthesizes very well the sequoias of Endor.

The result is that we already have half of the base done and decorated. The trunk truncation at the top is sublime and very successful with the dark orange.

And here we go with the first speeder of the chase! But first, as always, a picture of the minifigure. How much they have changed since the first sets of the saga! It would be enough to extend in a good article about it.

As a fan of the Star Wars saga I love collecting minifigures, but I also confess that I keep all the speeders that have passed through my hands in two decades and these are without a doubt the best I have ever built from the Endor scenes. Here you can see what parts they are made of. Both are almost identical, they only differ in the seat.

Is it just me or does the inclination of the speeders not match the one on the cover of the set?

We are now in the final stretch. We ride Luke who has the same aspect as Leia but they don't share any reference, neither in torso nor in legs, the truth is that he is very very cool. Next is the second and last tree which is very similar in concept to the previous one.

The final look of the diorama that although small does not need more to demonstrate the iconic scene of the chase in speeders in Endor. Very successful and cool. The conclusion of the set is that it is one more of the Star Wars saga that you have to have. For the minifigures, for the iconic representation of the image it shows. The 40th anniversary brick of "Return of the Jedi" is also a plus for fans of the saga :). The simple techniques but with a synthesis of the trees of Endor very successful in my opinion. And above all because being a diorama it will be perfect in the Star Wars diorama collection. We would like to thank LEGO for making the set available for this review. You know that LEGO does not support or endorse in any possible way the opinions expressed in this review as they are ours only.
