Set Review ➟ LEGO® 575345-01st Clone Troopers Battle Pack
Who said size matters? In this small Star Wars set we have the possibility to enjoy 4 clones of the 501st and a quadruped cannon. For those of you who are watching The Mandalorian you know which company I'm talking about. I won't go into spoilers :). Here you can see what you will find in the box of this little set.
The contents, as you can see, are so succulent - can you tell they are a big fan of the minifigures of this licence? - that the bags are not even numbered.
Without further ado, let's build this little part of the new Star Wars stories! As always, I like to assemble the minifigures first. Here you can see of the 4 minifigures the 3 types we will meet, one of them from the front and one from the back so you can see the cool backpack he is carrying.
The quadruped cannon although it is very well made has hardly anything special except maybe the beginning in which we can see 4 bricks with a bar clip on one side, then each of the legs will hang there making one of a 1x1 plate with a horizontal clip. That's all there is to it. But that doesn't make it any less fun :)
The cannon itself is nothing more than brackets on both sides and the only remarkable thing is the anchoring to the base, but I do miss the fact that the cannon itself turns on itself as it cannot rotate its angle of vision except by moving with its legs. Be that as it may the representation is in my opinion faithful and of course very playable, and very collectible of course! I'm already seeing people with quite large battalions :O.
The impression of this set is that it is a set to have for Star Wars fans, the figures are very well made and certainly for a set of six years and older is a playable set for the easy mobility of the same, that yes.... Be careful with the red lasers it shoots! We are grateful to LEGO for providing this set for review, although LEGO does not endorse or support our opinions in any way.
