Set Review ➟ LEGO® 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione
Time for the third instalment in this series of Speed Champion reviews. This time its 76914 Ferrari 812 Competizione.
This model doesn't really work without the stickers. This in part due to the fact that the printing on the canopy already takes those stickers into account (see the yellow stripe across the center) and so leaving the rest of the stripe out makes the model look a little strange.
Fortunately the headlights are printed and so are a few other elements. The trans-red flat round tiles wit black dot make for great looking tail lights. The 1x1 bricks with printed air vents still get stickers on the side as well.
I love the way the side panels, representing the doors, are built and I quite like the black stripe across the hood that is built using tiles.
Other than that, n¡my eye kees getting drawn to the yellow stripe... I may have to apply all those stickers after all
