Set Review ➟ LEGO® 76196 Marvel Comics Avengers Advent Calendar

box

As usual, for the month of December LEGO® launches a series of Advent calendars, City, Friends, Harry Potter…and in this case here we have the Avengers of Marvel Comics one.

Let’s remember briefly what an Advent calendar consists of: It is a box such as a set one, where opening the front flap we find 24 closed compartments that must be opened one by one every day from December 1st to December 24th, Christmas Eve. These compartments contain micro sets and minifigs related to the theme of the calendar, with nods to Christmas. This gives the opportunity to get exclusive micro sets, and minifigs that only appear in the Advent calendar.

As can be seen in the pictures of what has been coming out every day, they are easy constructions to assemble, there are no building instructions, instead, behind each flap that must be opened, there is a drawing that shows how to assemble the micro sets and minifigs.

The idea of the Advent calendar sets is for collecting, especially the minifigs that can be obtained. As fan we find cute and nice the micro-scale reproductions of buildings and/or vehicles, but little else. What really attracts us and in this case is no exception, are the minifigs. In this set the winners are Spiderman with a hoodie, Tony Stark with a Christmas sweater, Nick Fury with the Hulkbuster toy robot, and above all of them the robotic snowman.

There is not much more to say, but I recognize that it is fun that feeling of curiosity that you have when it is time to open a new day and see what comes out. Amazing to share with the house kids because that zeal of curiosity that they have discovering.

Whether you are AFOL, father, mother, or with children in your care, do not forget to get an Advent calendar sometime throughout these years, it’s something different.
