Today brings another "tiny" LEGO Technic set review—the 42116 Skid Steer Loader. With just 140 pieces it is the smallest in the 1H-2021 range. It is not a particularly original subject, but Technic is prone to a certain repetition in subject matter and the model is reasonably well executed considering the scale and size.

The build is very straightforward and there is little to comment on. There are two black 12t gears that serve to access the model's 2 functions: raising and lowering the arm and tilting the bucket.

There is a little extra "mechanism" in the build. The driver's cabin can open to make it easier to get in and out.

Once extended, the arm is a bit shaky, making it a little harder to play with the model.
