LEGO Train Projects
The LEGO® Trains AFOLs are in luck, here comes a new LEGO® trains book, by Charles Pritchett and published by No Starch Press.
It’s not another book about LEGO® Trains where different models and displays built by AFOLS are shown, but, unlike those books, this one will help us to create some new wagons and an engine for our collection.
It is a building instruction book with which we are going to be able to build a coal gondola, a milk tanker, an open hopper, also a depressed flatcar with electrical load, a passenger coach, the powered box car and the EMD FL9 Locomotive.
Each of the models to build has a bill of materials that are going to be used, what let you find them fast in your own collection o get them via internet. The building instructions are quite similar to the ones used by TLG in their building instructions books, so they are easily recognizable. At the end of each model the author shows us two different variations of the built model.
If you are an AFOL who wants to enter into the LEGO® Trains world, or a LEGO® Trains AFOL with no more ideas for some new wagons, this is your book.
