Book Review: The Lego Adventure Book Vol. 2

Already available "The LEGO Adventure Book volume 2" (by Megan H. Rothrock) is a very interesting book, and much more after the success of the volume 1. This volume is mainly dedicated to spaceships, pirates, dragons and more, which means, everything important for a fantasy and science fiction fan.

It has an excellent bookbinding, hardcover, with a total of 200 pages, more or less, of illustrations, instructions and bricks…

It is perfectly done, with the different themes divided by colors, so the has an easy access to the section he more like to look at it, although we all know that we will read it all over.

Each section or chapter is focused on a builder who collaborated on the book, great builders as Tommy Williamson, Yvonne Doyle, Megan Arjan Oude Kotte or H. Rothrock, to name a few of them.

Each chapter mixes vignettes with a creation by the designer of that chapter with a small cartoon in a comic look like, also with instructions for the assembly of small elements of the shown at the vignette and some more complex constructions. All this is completed with small construction and design tips, and ideas of different models taking as a reference those presented in the assembly instructions.

Highly recommended book, which every AFOL who wants to start into the MOC universe must have, as well as being an excellent photographic record of great creations.

Thanks to No Starch Press for the book and the official images.
