Review ➟ LEGO® Architecture 21021 Marina Bay Sands®
LEGO® recreates the spectacular hotel located in Singapore. The leisure complex was designed by Moshe Safdie and opened its doors in 2010 and one of its special features is the rooftop swimming pool.
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel was voted one of the most inspiring structures of recent times in an online poll on the LEGO® Architecture website..
Limited to 10,000 units, the LEGO® Architecture 21021 Marina Bay Sands® set comes in a special brick-like box that unfolds to reveal a map of the resort's development.
The contents of the box consist of 5 bags full of parts and the typical high quality instruction manual of the Architecture line.
The assembly starts with the construction of the base, where there will be two Technic pins that support the central tower and then join the other two similar towers to its sides.
The grid tiles are used to give the appearance of the the balconies of the rooms.
The other side of the building is built out of blue trans tiles and recreates the glass façade of the towers.
We then move on to the rooftop construction 'Skypark', where there are gardens and a spectacular infinity pool.
The garden area is built with round tiles and the water of the swimming pool with transparent blue tiles.
The end result is a good recreation of the building and some of its details, such as the curved shape of the top of the building, with a simple and enjoyable building experience.
Thanks to the LEGO CEE Team for providing the set.
